BreakScore® and Champ-Play Variations ![]()
House rules: All variations must agreed upon by game players before the start of play. Cards: Choice goes! Players must take a card if they get a boomer, sit on a zouch square, or zouch when they are not on the start or a void square. Say you roll a boomer and take a zouch card by mistake, the card instructions apply, and you lose your entire BreakScore®, and your turn is over! When you take a boomer card by mistake, your turn is also over and you must go back 10 squares or return to the start! Counters: If you mistakenly move another players counter back the mistake stands after the next player starts their turn. If however the mistake is noticed before the next player starts their turn, correct the mistake and go back 100 points or return to the start. Dice: Some game players incorporate some of the dice play options in Champ-Play into the classic game of BreakScore®. E.g. pairs, passing, strikes and three pair boomers! Other dice variations to try are:
Target: An alternate ending to the game. If a player lands on square 1100 the game stops there and then, the remaining players do not get a last chance turn. |
